Theatre without Borders
The theatre “Russkaya Opera” was established in 2008 by a group of enthusiastic Moscow opera singers and St. Nicolas the Miracle-Worker Charitable Foundation.
The art director of the theatre is the renowned Russian bass singer, People’s Artist of the USSR, a State Award laureate, a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia Alexander Filippovich VEDERNIKOV. The repertoire of the theatre includes numerous concert programmes and opera performances.
The theatre gives an opportunity to learn more about the classical art not only to the residents of the cities where there are opera theaters, but also to those people who live in the regions where there are no opera theaters for objective reasons.
